Above normal temperatures in Europe to continue through autumn-WSI
LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Above-normal temperatures are expected to continue across Scandinavia, eastern and central mainland Europe and Britain for the October-December period, Weather Services International (WSI (Taiwan OTC: 5245.TWO - news) ) said on Monday.
However, temperatures could turn cooler in parts of Iberia and southern France, said WSI, whose forecasts are aimed at the commodities and energy sectors.
"The bulk of the evidence suggests a return to the pattern of widespread above-normal temperatures that has been common for much of the past year," WSI meterologist Todd Crawford said in a statement.
