Adastra Minerals Inc ("the Company") announces that it was notified on 6 February 2006, in accordance with Part VI of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) (the "Act (Taiwan OTC: 3492.TWO - news) "), that Prudential plc (LSE: PRU.L - news) and certain of its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in 11,459,400 common shares of no par value in the Company (the "Shares"). The Shares represent approximately 14.81 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
For the purposes of section 210 of the Act, the address for those companies identified as the registered holders of the Shares is Laurence Pountney Hill, London EC4R 0HH.
