NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 25, 2014) - Applied Minerals, Inc. (the "Company," "Applied Minerals") (OTCQB: AMNL) (OTCBB: AMNL), a leading global producer of halloysite clay and technical grade natural iron oxides, today announced the details for the upcoming investors events:

LD Micro Investor Conference: December 3, 2014, at 1:30 PM Pacific at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Management will make a group presentation and also be available for one-on-one meetings with institutional investors during the event.

2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders: Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 2:30 PM Eastern at the Vanderbilt Suites located in the Metlife Building on 44th Street at Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, NY. The record date to vote at the meeting is October 15, 2014. For shareholders or other interested parties who cannot attend in person, the meeting will be webcast at http://www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/AMNL2014.
