Aston Martin £2,000 Pram Is Height Of Luxury

It is set to become a must-have for any baby with ambitions to be the next James Bond.

Born from a collaboration between Aston Martin and pram-makers Silver Cross, the limited edition pram is "designed to perfection with every detail considered".

The high-specification product boasts a leather-trimmed handle, air-ride suspension and is emblazoned with Aston Martin's iconic wings logo.

The pram's wheels are made from aluminium alloy and based on the wheels of Aston Martin One-77 car, though the automobile equivalent will set you back a cool £1.2m.

Described by Silver Cross as a "must-have for the most fast-paced lifestyle", and with just 800 being made, there is sure to be stiff competition among people who have money to burn.

British firm Silver Cross have a long connection with the royal family. The company received the royal seal of approval in the 1900s and the Queen herself was pushed in one of their carriages as a child.

Sidestepping the question of whether the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (SES: E1:J91U.SI - news) 's future child will be riding in one of the £2,000 prams, Silver Cross chairman Alan Halsall said: "We're delighted if any consumer chooses a Silver Cross product."
