BP continues restoring production at Whiting refinery - sources
HOUSTON, Aug 9 (Reuters) - BP Plc continued on Tuesday to restore production at its 413,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery, said sources familiar with plant operations.
A BP spokesman declined on Tuesday to discuss operations at the refinery.
The refinery was ramping up production on the 60,000-bpd reformer and returning a wastewater treatment plant to normal production, the sources said.
The reformer was shut and the wastewater plant malfunctioned over the July 29-30 weekend. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
