BP-Husky to shut crude and FCC units at Ohio refinery in April - source
NEW YORK, Aug 12 (Reuters) - BP Plc plans to shut down a crude unit and a fluid catalytic cracker in April at its 160,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Toledo, Ohio for up to 70 days of planned maintenance, according to a source familiar with the plant's operations.
The 110,000 bpd crude unit and the 55,000 bpd catalytic cracker were initially supposed to halt operations in September, but officials delayed the work due to high refinery margins and a four-month worker strike that ended in May, a second source said.
Reuters had previously reported the delay..
The refinery is a joint venture between BP and Husky Energy (Toronto: HSE.TO - news) .
