BP Whiting, Indiana refinery shutting large CDU, FCCU -sources
HOUSTON, Sept 19 (Reuters) - BP Plc's 413,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery began shutting down the largest of three crude distillation units and the largest of two gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking units on Monday, according to sources familiar with plant operations.
Energy industry intelligence service Genscape said the 110,000-bpd FCCU 500 began shutting down on Monday morning and the 290,000-bpd Pipestill 12 CDU began shutting down on Monday afternoon. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Sandra Maler)
