Britain's J-Block North Sea gas field in unplanned outage

LONDON, May 22 (Reuters) - Conocophillips (NYSE: COP - news) ' UK J-Block North Sea gas field went into a 9-10 million cubic metre per day unplanned outage on Thursday morning, the company said on its regulatory website.

The outage started at 06:30 local time (0530 GMT) on May 22 and the company said an investigation into the outage was ongoing, adding that the shutdown date was likely to be restricted to May 22. (Reporting by Henning Gloystein, editing by William Hardy)
