** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in Bwin.Party rise as much as 2 pct after media reports suggest GVC Holdings (Other OTC: GMVHF - news) is looking to increase its offer for co once again

** Stock off day's highs, last up 0.7 pct

** Bwin.Party, had earlier accepted 888 Holdings Plc's 900 million-pound offer, saying GVC's offer was too complex

** 888 Holdings shares also up about 2 pct in early trading but lose about half those gains

** Shares in Bwin have risen more than 5 pct since co said in last November that it was in talks over potential business combinations (aashika.jain@thomsonreuters.com)
