BUZZ-Det norske: Centrica licences fit well with its portfolio

** Det norske says it will buy Centrica (LSE: CNA.L - news) 's licences in the Frigg-Gammadelta and Rind discoveries in the Norwegian North Sea

** Det norske will cover the expenses of the licenses with effective date of 1 January 2016

** "Firstly, we don't pay anything for the licences, we're taking over the obligations, and it is an area where we are heavily present already," a spokesman for Det norske said when asked why the deal is attractive

** "There are some costs related to the obligations, but we see the deal as advantageous to us."

** The spokesman declined to provide further details on the progress of picking a concept for developing the Frigg-Gammadelta field (RM (LSE: RM.L - news) : stine.jacobsen.thomsonreuters.com@reuters.net)
