** Essentra (Other OTC: FLRAF - news) down 26 pct, poised for its worst day ever after co warns of lower FY adjusted operating profit

** Stock by far and away worst performer on Stoxx 600 and UK's FTSE Midcap index in trading volume approaching 1.5x its 90-day daily avg after just 30 minutes

** The supplier of speciality plastic and packaging components cites challenging market conditions in filter products and delays in some large projects

** Filter products accounted for about 27 pct of co's revenue in 2015

** Co also says site integration in health and personal care packaging had resulted in some short-term operational issues in both the US and the UK, hurting revenue and operating profit

** Co expects FY adjusted operating profit between 155 mln stg- 165 mln stg vs 171.5 mln stg last yr

** Revenue expected to be broadly unchanged
