BUZZ-Flybe: Slumps on H1 loss

** Shares in British regional airline Flybe Group Plc (LSE: FLYB.L - news) , fall as much as 22.6 pct in strong volumes on Wednesday.

** The company swings to a loss before tax of GBP 15.3 mln pounds in H1. Last year it posted a pretax profit of GBP13.8 mln.

** "The interim results were below our forecasts, but distorted significantly by several one-off issues as Flybe continues to deal with its legacy challenges," Liberum analyst Gerald Khoo said in a note.

** Khoo cut forecasts to a small pre-tax loss for March 2015 and by 26 pct for March 2016, citing slower capacity growth and higher market and other costs.
