** Co cites challenging trading conditions and disappointing sales since the start of school Christmas holidays

** Sees fall in H1 adjusted EBITDA to 30 mln stg ($44.56 mln) for the 26 weeks ending Jan. 23

** Adjusted EBITDA was 43 mln stg for H1 last yr

** Canaccord Genuity (Other OTC: CCORF - news) downgrades to "hold" from "buy", cuts TP to 183p from 270p, calling the trading update particularly disappointing as co is just heading into its peak sales period

** Stock trading at 126.58p v 200p IPO price
