** British Airways owner IAG gains ground for sixth straight session fuelled by a bullish note from a top-rated analyst.

** Stock up as much as 2.1 pct, second-top riser on a 0.3 pct weaker FTSE 100 index; Longest winning streak since August.

** Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS - news) adds IAG to its Focus List. Reckons British Airways' loss-making short-haul business could approach easyJet profitability levels.

** Bank rated at four stars for recommendation accuracy on IAG, according to StarMine.

** Weaker crude oil also provides some respite to IAG, recently caught up in a global sell-off in travel-related stocks on the back of Ebola fears.
