** Specialist annuity provider JRP poised for biggest single day rise since Feb 2015 after upbeat trading update

** Co says trading between May and July end continued in-line with expectations across its main product lines of bulk annuities, individual annuities and lifetime mortgages

** Shore Capital analyst calls this "excellent news", given some of the negative commentary in the market place over the impact of lower interest rates on the annuity markets

** Co says Solvency Capital ratio at June end was about 130 pct (slightly ahead of JPMorgan (LSE: JPIU.L - news) estimate of 127 pct)

** A ratio of 100 pct means a co has set aside enough capital to meet investment and operational risks

** Co says it expects to report an H1 embedded value above 200p per share, up 4 pct HoH

** Stock, which has fallen c.40 pct since the day after Britain voted to leave the EU, up 8.8 pct
