BUZZ-Man Group: Shares jump after forecast-beating H1

(Removes reference to record high, updates share price)

** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in Man Group (LSE: EMG.L - news) up more than 7 pct, best day in 5 months, after co reports H1 results ahead of analysts' expectations

** Stock ranks among top percentage gainers on the FTSE-250 index and Wednesday's jump brings stock back in the black year-to-date after 2014's run as one of the best performers across major European stocks

** Man Group performance in stark contrast to peer Aberdeen, which posted a 9th consecutive quarter of fund outflows earlier this month on EM woes pushing shares to near 2-year lows

** Man Group's H1 net performance fee profit before tax nearly tripled to $172 million compared with a year earlier (aashika.jain@thomsonreuters.com)
