BUZZ-Portland gasoline surges as typhoon stokes supply concerns
HOUSTON, Oct (HKSE: 3366-OL.HK - news) 17 (Reuters) - Portland gasoline traded at a 35-cent a gallon premium to the NYMEX RBOB contract on Monday, up almost 16 cents from Friday's levels as the remnants of Typhoon Songda stoked regional supply concerns.
* Tesoro Corp and Phillips 66 (Hamburg: 18376318.HM - news) on Monday said operations were normal at their refineries in Washington
* Operations were also normal at BP's Cherry Point refinery, according to a source
* Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) , which also operates a refinery in Washington, did not immediately respond to a request for comment (Reporting by Liz Hampton)
