BUZZ-Premier Foods: recovering poise after upbeat trading update

** Premier Foods (LSE: PFD.L - news) poised for biggest one-day move in 3 mths after a trading update which highlights improving sales trends & that a significant reduction in net debt is expected in 2015

** Co says FY profit meets mkt expectations

** Stock, as much as 9.5 pct firmer, up at highest levels since late September & second-most actively traded small cap stock with more than its 90-day daily avg volume already traded

** Shares (Frankfurt: DI6.F - news) in the food manufacturer have been under significant pressure, down 60 pct in 2014, against backdrop of UK consumers doing more of their shopping online or at discount chains that stock their own brands
