Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.41 percent at 17,793, S&P 500 futures were down 0.51 percent at 2,103.75 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 1.43 percent at 4,599.75.

** APPLE INC, Tuesday close $130.75, -7.18 pct premarket

The company's fourth-quarter revenue forecast fell short of estimates and it missed some targets for iPhone sales. The forecast overshadowed Apple's strong sales in China, which more than doubled to $13.23 billion from a year earlier.
