Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures were down 0.16 percent at 17,675, S&P 500 futures were down 0.18 percent at 2,057 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.11 percent at 4,324.75.

** COHERUS BIOSCIENCES INC (NasdaqGM: CHRS - news) , Tuesday close $30.58, -3.04 pct premarket

The biotech company priced its offering of 4.1 million shares at $29 each, a 5 pct discount to stock's Tuesday close. The upsized $120 million offering represents 12 percent of the company's outstanding shares as of Feb. 28.

** CHESAPEAKE ENERGY CORP, Tuesday close $14.16, +2.40 pct premarket

The oil and gas producer's Chairman Dunham Archie bought 1 million shares at $13.98 per share on March 27, according to a regulatory filing on Tuesday. The purchase price represents a 1.3 percent discount to the stock's Tuesday close. After the purchase, Archie holds 2.6 million shares of the company.

Analysts at Deutsche Bank (LSE: 0H7D.L - news) cut ratings on airlines' stocks to "hold" from "buy", saying they expect disappointing earnings growth from international markets. The combination of a strong US dollar, greater-than-expected capacity increases by non-US airlines, and decelerating global GDP growth are likely to further pressure Deutsche Bank's forecast (from international markets) for 2015, analysts write in a note.

Simon Property Group scrapped its attempt to buy Macerich after the smaller shopping mall owner rejected its sweetened offer of $23.2 billion including debt. Macerich Chief Executive Arthur Coppola said the company's board concluded that the offer did not reflect the full value of the company.

** MERCK (Swiss: MER.SW - news) & CO INC, Tuesday close $57.48, -0.23 pct premarket

Cowen & Co analysts said the drugmaker's vaccine to treat shingles may be more effective than Merck (LSE: 0O14.L - news) 's. Glaxo's vaccine HZ/su should be well positioned to capture market share from Merck's Zostavax if final data from a late-stage study shows HZ/su has better efficacy while treating older patients, analysts said.

** NUVASIVE INC (NasdaqGS: NUVA - news) , Tuesday close $45.99, -5.37 pct premarket

The medical device maker said Chief Executive Office Alex Lukianov resigned after an independent investigation showed he had not complied with the medical device maker's expense reimbursement and personnel policies. NuVasive has appointed board member Greg Lucier as interim CEO.

** EVERYWARE GLOBAL INC (NasdaqGM: EVRY - news) , Tuesday close $1.2, -76.67 pct premarket

The marketer of tabletop and food preparation products said it expects to file for prepackaged bankruptcy that will give its secured lenders control of the company after it emerges from the bankruptcy. EveryWare said it expects to file for a prepackaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and expects to emerge from bankruptcy within 60-75 days.

** DYAX CORP (NasdaqGM: DYAX - news) , Tuesday close $16.755, +49.33 pct premarket

The drug developer said its experimental drug, DX-2930, to prevent hereditary angioedema attacks, was found effective in an early stage study. The drug was also assigned fast-track status by the U.S. FDA. All seven analysts covering the stock raised price targets, saying the strong results show the drug could eclipse the current standard-of-care preventive treatment for HAE.

** UTI WORLDWIDE INC (NasdaqGS: UTIW - news) , Tuesday close $12.3, -14.55 pct premarket

The logistics company reported a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter loss, hurt by lower air and ocean freight forwarding yields and lower volumes in freight forwarding. The company also cuts its 2016 adjusted EBITDA forecast to $125 million-$150 million from $190 million-$210 million and said revenue would be hurt by the strengthening of the dollar.

** SYNNEX CORP (NYSE: SNX - news) , Tuesday close $77.25, -4.21 pct premarket

The hardware distributor forecast second-quarter revenue and adjusted profit below analysts' average estimates, saying revenue is expected to be lowered by about $130 million due to the stronger dollar. The company on Tuesday also reported lower-than-expected first-quarter profit and revenue.

** HEWLETT-PACKARD CO, Tuesday close $31.16, +1.67 pct premarket

The computer maker has lodged a claim in London against Michael Lynch and a former colleague for damages of about $5.1 billion over their management of Autonomy, the company it bought in 2011. Lynch will counter sue, seeking in excess of 100 million pounds ($149 million) for loss and damage caused by HP's accusations, his representatives said in a statement on Tuesday.

** SEARS HOLDINGS CORP, Tuesday close $41.38, +8.72 pct premarket

The struggling retailer said it would raise more than $2.5 billion by selling stores to a real estate investment trust it is setting up, in the latest move to shore up its finances. The company would set up a REIT, Seritage Growth Properties, which will buy and lease back about 254 Sears and Kmart stores. Sears will also form a joint venture with mall operator General Growth Properties under which it will sell 12 stores to the JV for a 50 percent stake and $165 million in cash.

** CYREN LTD (NasdaqCM: CYRN - news) , Tuesday close $3.03, +4.29 pct premarket

The Israeli cyber security software maker said it received a contract from a UK-based JV between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Other OTC: MHVYF - news) Ltd and Siemens AG (Xetra: SIEC.DE - news) .

** VOLTARI CORP, Tuesday close $1.01, +179.21 pct premarket

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn raises his stake in the digital advertising company to 52.3 percent. Icahn bought about 4 million Voltari shares at $1.36 each via a rights offering.

** ABBOTT LABORATORIES (Xetra: 850103 - news) , Tuesday close $46.33

The generic drug maker priced an offering of 35 million shares at $58.35 per share, a discount of about 2 percent to the stock's Tuesday close. All shares in the offering are to be sold by Abbott Laboratories for net proceeds of about $1.99 billion.

** KINDER MORGAN INC (NYSE: KMI - news) , Tuesday close $42.06, +0.43 pct premarket

Canada's Keyera Corp (Toronto: KEY.TO - news) and midstream company Kinder Morgan plan to build 4.8 million barrels of new crude oil storage in the marketing hub of Edmonton, Alberta, the two companies said on Tuesday.

** CONSOL ENERGY INC (NYSE: CNX - news) , Tuesday close $27.89, +0.32 pct premarket

CNX Coal Resources LP, Consol Energy's thermal coal business formed as a master limited partnership, filed for an initial public offering with U.S. regulators on Wednesday, as Consol shifts focus to boosting natural gas production.

** GENERAL ELECTRIC CO, Tuesday close $24.81, -0.36 pct premarket

The U.S. conglomerate will commit to financing a new natural gas plant in Puerto Rico under a debt restructuring plan proposed by creditors of the island's struggling power utility, according to plan documents obtained by Reuters.

** SPRINT CORP, Tuesday close $4.74, +0.84 pct premarket

A plan to salvage RadioShack Corp (Other OTC: RSHCQ - news) 's business by co-branding most of its 1,740 surviving stores with cellular phone provider Sprint earned U.S. bankruptcy court approval on Tuesday, ending four days of contested court hearings.

** TECK RESOURCES LTD, Tuesday close $13.73, +0.51 pct premarket

The mining company on Tuesday poured more cold water on speculation it was in talks to merge with or acquire a rival mining company, saying although it had looked at opportunities none have met its criteria.

** LOCKHEED MARTIN CORP, Tuesday close $202.96

The Pentagon's No. 1 defense equipment supplier said it expected to complete a contract in the coming months to supply an undisclosed number of PAC-3 missiles to South Korea, following Monday's announcement by that country's defense acquisition agency.

** CARPENTER TECHNOLOGY CORP (NYSE: CRS - news) , Tuesday close $38.88

The alloys maker said on Tuesday that it will cut about 10 percent of its salaried workforce, or 200 jobs, to reduce costs amid weak oil and gas prices. The company will also cut about 60 outsourced positions.

** CAMBREX CORP, Tuesday close $39.63

Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC started coverage of the drug ingredient manufacturer with a "buy" rating and price target of $50. Analysts say Cambrex is one of the top 10 contract manufacturers of small molecule active drug ingredients, a market they value at over $50 billion with mid-single digit volume growth. They also expect the company's earnings per share to double by 2017.

** OFG BANCORP (NYSE: OFG - news) , Tuesday close $16.32

Guggenheim cut its rating on the Puerto Rico-based lender's stock to "neutral" from "buy".

** CYRUSONE INC (NasdaqGS: CONE - news) , Tuesday close $31.12, +0.80 pct premarket

** CINCINNATI BELL INC (NYSE: CBB - news) , Tuesday close $3.53

The data center REIT's former parent Cincinnati Bell halved its stake through a follow-on offering. CyrusOne said it would issue 12.2 million shares of common stock to buy an equal amount of Cincinnati Bell's operating partnership units. The offering will cut Cincinnati Bell's stake to 22 percent if the full shoe is exercised, and increase the common shares outstanding to about 53 million.

** ECHO GLOBAL LOGISTICS INC (NasdaqGS: ECHO - news) , Tuesday close $27.26

BB&T Capital Markets cut its rating on the logistics company's stock to "hold" from "buy".

** GODADDY INC

The web hosting company has priced its initial public offering at $20 per share, above its previously indicated $17 to $19 per share range, valuing it at around $4.5 billion, including debt, according to underwriting sources.
