Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.46 percent at 17,840, S&P 500 futures were up 0.32 percent at 2,085.75 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.26 percent at 4,419.5.

The business networking website operator slashed its full-year profit forecast, citing slower revenue growth at its hiring business and a delay in recognizing the contribution of lynda.com, the online education company it has agreed to buy.
