Cable ∓ Wireless Communications Plc (the "Company") confirms that on 30 April 2012, its issued share capital consisted of 2,665,611,727 Ordinary Shares of US$0.05 nominal value with voting rights ("Ordinary Shares").
The Company holds 137,488,873 Ordinary Shares in treasury.
Therefore, as at 30 April 2012 the total number of voting rights in the Company is 2,528,122,854. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR (SNP: ^DTRY - news) ").
This announcement is in conformity with DTR 5.6.1.
