Centrica says Easington Terminal work now complete

Nov 29 (Reuters) - British utility Centrica Storage Limited said on Tuesday work has concluded on the Easington Terminal, and that works are nearing completion offshore.

Its Rough natural gas storage site in Britain, which is currently experiencing an outage, would be available for withdrawal operations no later than 5 a.m. local time on Dec. 9, Centrica (Frankfurt: A0DK6K - news) added.

The site was shut in June for operator Centrica to carry out tests after identifying potential issues with well integrity. Restrictions to site operations began in March last year. (Reporting by Harshith Aranya in Bengaluru)
