Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management
The wealth management firm has announced the appointment of David Esfandi as chief executive for the UK. He was most recently at Ashcourt Rowan, where he was a senior leader in its asset management division.

AllianceBernstein
The investment management firm has appointed Mike Fullalove as product development manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joins from Asset Match, where he was director of sales. Fullalove was formerly global head of alternative fund distribution at UBS, and head of product development for equity derivatives at Nomura.

Brown Shipley
The private bank has made three appointments to strengthen its private banking and investment services. Douglas Noble has over 30 years’ industry experience, and previously held roles at Bank of Scotland and Barclays Wealth. Neil Mitchell and Gair Brisbane both join from Barclays Wealth.

Kinetic Partners
Iain Pickard has joined the advisory firm’s consulting team. He was most recently at RSM Tenon/Baker Tilly, where he set up its financial services risk practice and led its financial services division. Prior to that, Pickard was chief operating officer for Marsh’s UK retail business.

ACPI Investment Managers
The asset management company has hired Daniel Moreno as head of emerging markets (EMs). He has been managing portfolios in long and absolute return EM products for 15 years. Moreno previously worked at EM Quest Capital and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Secure Trust Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of Roy Aston as chief technology officer. He previously held senior roles at Beneficial Bank, Citigroup, and Lloyds Banking Group. Aston joins from the Ministry of Justice, where he was interim head of service delivery and operations.

Pendomer Communications
Martin Dunwoodie will join the financial communications and reputation consultancy as a partner in May. He is currently a research analyst at Deutsche Bank, where he covers the pan-European chemical sector.
