Issue of equity

The Board of Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc (the "Company") has today issued, subject to listing, 4,492 Ordinary Shares following elections by holders of the Company's 3.5% Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2018 ("CULS") to convert 13,943 nominal of CULS. The Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings in these Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: LSE.L - news) will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 10 February 2012.

Following admission, there will be 196,350,842 Ordinary Shares and GBP 59,877,070 nominal of CULS in issue.
