LONDON, April 8 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to a slightly higher open on Monday after sharp falls in the previous session, with recent poor U.S. data raising expectations the Federal Reserve would keep its liquidity support for a longer period.
At 0701 GMT, futures for Euro STOXX 50 (Zurich: ^STOXX50E - news) , Germany's DAX (Xetra: ^GDAXI - news) and France's CAC were 0.1 to 0.2 percent higher.
