Finmeccanica sees 400 mln euros revs from Eurofighter Typhoon deal

MILAN, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Italy's Finmeccanica said expected to cash in more than 400 million euros ($502 million) from a contract the Eurofighter consortium signed with a North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) agency.

The consortium comprises also BAE Systems (LSE: BA.L - news) and Airbus in addition to the Italian defence group.

The contract signed on Wednesday between the Eurofighter consortium and the NATO agency will develop the electronically scanned Captor-E radar for the Typhoon jet, Finmeccanica (Other OTC: FINMF - news) said in a note.(1 US dollar = 0.7967 euro) (Reporting by Francesca Landini)
