Ghana targets 120,000 bpd oil production for 2014 - budget statement

ACCRA, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Ghana will target oil production from its offshore Jubilee field of 120,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2014 versus an average of 102,503 bpd for the first nine months of 2013, Finance Minister Seth Terkper said on Tuesday.

"In 2014, the main focus under the upstream petroleum sub-sector will be to attain peak oil production of 120,000 barrels of oil per day in the Jubilee Field," Terkper told parliament in the annual budget speech.
