The Board of HarbourVest Senior Loans Europe Limited ("HSLE" or the "Company"), the listed closed-ended investment company investing in senior secured loans of private equity-backed mid-market companies in Europe (Chicago Options: ^REURUSD - news) (including the UK), today announced an unaudited estimated net asset value per share of 95.15p at 31 January 2012.

The Company is a Guernsey-incorporated, closed-end investment company listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE: LSE.L - news) .
The Company invests in the senior secured loans of private equity-backed mid-market companies in Europe, including the UK. The Company's objective is to provide income and capital growth through investment in existing or new senior secured loans. The portfolio is intended to comprise senior secured loans issued by 20 to 30 companies diversified by industry and geography.
HarbourVest Senior Loans Europe is managed by Harbourvest Senior Loan Advisers L.P. (the "Manager") a limited partnership organised under the laws of the State of Delaware and which is an affiliate of HarbourVest Partners, LLC ("HarbourVest"), a private equity firm based in Boston, U.S.A.
The Company is regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and is not regulated or authorised by the Financial Services Authority, but subject to the Listing Rules applicable to closed-ended investment companies.
