The Kids Kicking Cancer Event Is Fast Approaching -- "Spirits For A Cause" -- A Wine Sampling & Mixology Experience to Support the Kids Kicking Cancer Organization

SOUTHFIELD, MI--(Marketwired - April 07, 2014) - Mark the calendar, and become part of this worthwhile event. "Spirits For A Cause Benefiting Kids Kicking Cancer" will be held on 4/12/2014, at 7:30pm at the Knollwood Country Club, 5050 W. Maple Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48322. The Kids Kicking Cancer Event commences with a two-hour Wine Tasting. Everyone is sure to enjoy the one-of-a-kind drinks created by Michigan's best Mixologists. There will be world-class appetizers and food samples from noted area eateries. Enjoy a Live Acoustic set plus Dueling Pianos and the Pacquiao vs. Bradley Fight will be shown. There will be a 50/50 Raffle, Wine Pull, and a silent auction benefiting Kids Kicking Cancer.

Children suffering with Cancer and other illness are aided by Kids Kicking Cancer to help control stress and pain via coaching taught by Certified Black Belt Martial Artists. This protocol helps the kids experience power, peace and purpose by sharing their deep breathing methods with others. Kids Kicking Cancer was featured on Good Morning America, and when The Journal of The American Society of Hematology conducted a study, and reported that: "Martial Arts can provide a useful modality to decrease pain in childhood cancer. This can improve patient compliance with respect to medical and surgical management thus reducing disease morbidity and healthcare costs." It boosted their recognition.

Martial Arts are used to empower kids with life threatening disorders to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Classes are held at clinics and hospitals that teach traditional Karate moves along with methods of meditation, breathing, relaxation.
