Lloyds Banking Group - Blocklisting Interim Review

LLOYDS BANKING GROUP PLC - BLOCK LISTING OF SHARES

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange (LSE: LSE.L - news) for a block listing of 230,000,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in Lloyds Banking Group (LSE: LLOY.L - news) plc ("the Company"), comprising 150,000,000 shares for the Lloyds Banking Group Deferred Bonus Plan 2008 and 80,000,000 shares for the Lloyds Banking Group Long-Term Incentive Plan 2006 (together the "Plans"). These shares are being allotted to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List upon allotment pursuant to the Company's obligations under the Plans. Participants in the Plans have or will become entitled to these shares following the vesting of share awards. These shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
