DE LA RUE (Other OTC: DELRF - news)

The chief executive of the British banknote printer, Tim Cobbold, has resigned to join marketing services company UBM in the same role, the firms said on Tuesday. De La Rue said Cobbold, who has been its CEO since 2011, would leave the firm on March 29.

STANDARD CHARTERED BANK

The global banking group said it appointed Ahmed Muallah as managing director and head of its wholesale banking business in Iraq. Muallah, a founding member and partner of IQI, a private investment company, will be based in Baghdad.

HSBC

The bank has appointed Renato Naigeborin as Head (Other OTC: HEDYY - news) of Equity Trading for Latin America. He will be responsible for managing HSBC's existing Latin America equity products such as structured equity derivatives, prime, and cash.

AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS

The asset management company said it appointed Jim Veneau as head of Credit Asia and Christy Lee as a portfolio manager within its Asian fixed income team. Veneau and Lee, who will be based in Hong Kong, join from HSBC GAMBoth and UBS Asset Management respectively.

MAREX SPECTRON

The commodities broker said it appointed Georgi Slavov as head of basic resources and freight research. Slavov, who will be based in London, joins from Armajaro.

CHURCH HOUSE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

The investment management company said it appointed Angelina Yap as client director (Asia-Pacific). Yap, who will be based in London, has previously worked for RBC (MCX: RBCM.ME - news) , Standard Chartered (HKSE: 2888.HK - news) and HSBC.

ROBECO GROEP NV

The Dutch asset management firm said it appointed Alan Rubenstein to the supervisory board. Rubenstein is currently chief executive of the Pension Protection Fund and has served as the managing director of Lehman Brothers. (Compiled by Shubhankar Chakravorty and Anannya Pramanick in Bangalore)
