MOVES- RBC Capital Markets, Wesleyan Assurance Society

RBC CAPITAL MARKETS

RBC Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada , said it appointed Mike Bassas as managing director and head of Fixed Income & Currencies, Asia (non-Japan). It also appointed Mark Otis Zownir as a managing director and head of USD Rates Trading, Asia. Both Bass and Zownir will be based in Hong Kong. Bass joined RBC Capital Markets from Standard Chartered Bank and Zownir was most recently head of Yen Rates Trading at Citigroup (NYSE: C - news) in Tokyo.

WESLEYAN ASSURANCE SOCIETY

Wesleyan Assurance Society, the financial services specialist, said it appointed Keith Nicholson FCA to their non-executive board of directors. Nicholson recently retired from his role as Partner at KPMG LLP. (Compiled by Shobhana Chadha in Bangalore)
