NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 3, 2015) - Atlantic recording group NEEDTOBREATHE has announced details of their first ever live album. "NEEDTOBREATHE: LIVE FROM THE WOODS" arrives everywhere on April 14th.
Recorded last September at Nashville's The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel, "NEEDTOBREATHE: LIVE FROM THE WOODS" captures the GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band on stage and at their best, performing a full live set including such hits as "Washed By The Water," "Something Beautiful," "Keep Your Eyes Open," and "Multiplied" (see tracklisting below). The two-CD set will be available for pre-order beginning March 3rd, with all pre-orders receiving instant grat downloads of fan favorites "Feet Don't Fail Me Now" and "Difference Maker."
NEEDTOBREATHE's acclaimed new single, "Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)," is set to impact Hot AC radio outlets nationwide in early April. In addition, the track's companion video will have its world premiere March 6th exclusively via VH1.com, followed March 7th by its broadcast debut on VH1's Top 20 Countdown (check local listings). "Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)" was applauded by Entertainment Weekly as "full, anthemic, a little bit woodsy and alarmingly catchy," adding "(frontman) Bear Rinehart's sincerity is unmistakable in his vocals, and the bluegrass backing culminates in something sweetly rich." "Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)" -- the original version of which can be found on NEEDTOBREATHE's chart-topping "RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND" -- is available now on the iTunes Store and all DSPs.
NEEDTOBREATHE will celebrate their new single and live album with a festival appearance at Napa, California's annual "Live At The Vineyard," slated for March 27th. From there the band will embark on their first North American headlining tour of 2015, kicking off April 23rd at Tuscaloosa, Alabama's Tuscaloosa Amphitheater and then traveling through the summer (see itinerary below). Dubbed "Tour De Compadres," the aptly named trek sees NEEDTOBREATHE bringing out some of their best friends as support, with special guests including Ben Rector, Switchfoot, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, and Colony House. 2014 marked the most extraordinary year of NEEDTOBREATHE's already celebrated career. "RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND" -- the South Carolina-based band's fifth studio album -- made a stunning chart debut upon its April release, topping Billboard's "Top Rock Albums" and "Top Alternative Albums" charts while also entering the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #3. What's more, the album's stunning "Multiplied" earned NEEDTOBREATHE their first ever GRAMMY® Award nomination.
NEEDTOBREATHE is a GRAMMY-nominated, American Rock 'n' Roll Band from South Carolina, effortlessly woven from the musical traditions and faith of their upbringing in the Deep South of the United States. Made up of brothers Bear Rinehart (vocals, guitar) and Bo Rinehart (guitar, vocals), Seth Bolt (bass, vocals) and Josh Lovelace (keys, vocals), the band hit their big break in 2005 when they signed to Atlantic/Word Records. The career to follow would include four full studio albums, chart-topping cross-genre success, multiple headlining tours and media coverage on CONAN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with David Letterman, CBS This Morning, MTV, FOX and much more. The band's critically acclaimed fifth studio album "RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND" was released on April 15, 2014, and debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.
