Percona Live London MySQL Conference Confirms Global Enthusiasm for MySQL and OpenStack

DURHAM, NC--(Marketwired - Nov 14, 2014) - Percona, the company that makes MySQL faster and more reliable, today recognized the overwhelming success of the Percona Live London MySQL conference, which took place November 3-4 at the Millennium Gloucester Conference Center. Attendees from more than 30 countries gathered to hear insightful talks from leaders of the MySQL community. As part of the event, Percona and ComputerworldUK conducted a survey to take the pulse of the MySQL community. The illuminating survey results indicate that 81 percent of the community acknowledges that Oracle has been a good steward of MySQL over the past year and that 48 percent are planning to evaluate OpenStack over the next 12 months. The full results will appear in a future ComputerworldUK publication.
