HOUSTON, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The 70,000 barrel per day (bpd) gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit has returned to normal operation at Royal Dutch Shell Plc (Xetra: R6C1.DE - news) 's 327,000 bpd joint-venture refinery in Deer Park, Texas, said sources familiar with operations at the refinery.

The FCCU began restarting on Tuesday after being shut for two months of repairs following an Aug. 18 breakdown. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Chris Reese)
