Shell shuts in Coulomb field as related platform closes on storm
HOUSTON, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) on Monday said it has shut in production at its Coulomb field in the Gulf of Mexico after BP shut in its Na Kika platform ahead of Tropical Depression Nine.
Production from the Coulomb field flows back to the Na Kika platform, which is jointly owned by BP and Shell. (Reporting by Liz Hampton)
