Shell's Pernis refinery in Netherlands to undergo Sept maintenance -traders
LONDON, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell (Xetra: R6C1.DE - news) 's 404,000 barrels per day (bpd) Pernis refinery in the Netherlands, Europe's largest, will undergo maintenance on several units starting mid-September, trading sources said on Thursday.
The turnaround will affect the 49,000 bpd fluid catalytic cracker (FCC), the 56,000 bpd hydrocracker as well as the 7,500 bpd alkylation unit and is planned to last 30 days, several sources said.
