Sony Music Feat. b-pack "Better Visibility"

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - August 27, 2014) - Sony Music Entertainment, one of the world's biggest music corporations, chooses b-pack Purchase-to-Pay solution to gain visibility and control over its global spend that allows better management of marketing, promotion and recording costs. Joining forces with b-pack, Sony Music was looking to control variable marketing expense and make its procurement processes more efficient. Sony Music rolled-out the b-pack solution in multiple European regions (Germany, UK, Italy, etc.) in 2013 and is now deploying in North America.

Sony Music's significant diversity of spend is characterized by a large number of transactions with multitude of local suppliers. Along with the deployment of a centralized global SAP, Sony Music was looking for a purchasing solution flexible enough to address their specific requirements. The power of the b-pack transactional engine enables the management of complex spend structures, across many countries organized by regions, providing real-time accurate financial information. Supplier registration is another feature that supports Sony Music in their business needs that allows registering new suppliers in a quick and simple way. Another feature is project budget management, where from forecasting their budgets to getting them approved, it's all tracked in b-pack.
