JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African power utility Eskom will cut as much as 1,000 megawatts from the national grid on Sunday because of a shortage of generating units, the company said, with the rolling blackouts scheduled to last until 2000 GMT. The utility cuts power to prevent demand from surging past available supply as it embarks on maintenance of its old stations.
