CAPE TOWN (Reuters) - South Africa's coal-fired Medupi power station is expected to be fully operational in the first half of 2019, the cabinet said on Friday. "Once completed, it will be the fourth largest coal-fired plant and the largest dry-cooled power station in the world," cabinet said of the 4,764 megawatt plant. Cabinet also approved the bid of east coast city, Durban, to host the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
