LONDON (ShareCast) - The results of this morning's Spanish debt auction are in. Spain's Treasury issued a total of €5.443bn in 12 and 18-month notes, in line with its maximum target of €5.5bn. The Treasury issued €2.94bn in 12-month notes; The yield fell from 2.15% to 1.949% since the prior auction. The bid to cover ratio was 2.27 compared to the prior 3.54. It also issued €2.503bn in 18-month notes; The yield fell from 2.49% to 2.395% since the prior auction. The bid to cover ratio was 2.88 compared to the prior 3.23. N.A.
