STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Edenred boosted by bullish Barclays note

Shares in French meal voucher company Edenred (Paris: FR0010908533 - news) rise 3.5 percent to a near six-month high as traders cite a bullish note from Barclays (LSE: BARC.L - news) analysts who raise their price target on the stock by 8 percent to 28 euros apiece.

"Management delivered an upbeat investor day on Tuesday highlighting the multiple levers for growth," the analysts write in a note.

"While there was nothing in the presentation which we expect to trigger revisions to Thomson ONE consensus forecasts, the detail provided gives us further confidence in the group's ability to deliver double-digit 'issue volume' growth."

Earlier this week, Edenred raised its medium-term issue volume target on Tuesday, with plans to expand in three new countries in the next three years while continuing to grow in key emerging markets such as Brazil.
