STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-UK small caps fall, track blue-chips
The FTSE Small Cap Index falls 0.2 percent, while the junior-listed FTSE AIM All Share Index dips 0.1 percent, declining broadly in line with a 0.2 percent retreat on the blue-chip FTSE 100 index.
The FTSE 250 mid-cap index falls by 0.7 percent.
Falkland Island Holdings rises 4.9 percent after the company, which runs businesses on the Falkland Islands and owns a stake in Falkland Oil & Gas (LSE: FOGL.L - news) Ltd, says trading during the second half of its financial year had improved.
Brokerage WH Ireland keeps a "buy" rating on the stock, highlighting a potential lift from the company's new drilling campaign.
Drinks company Stock Spirits (LSE: STCK.L - news) falls by 8 percent after Oaktree Capital Management sold its 36.8 percent share in the central European drinks maker in a placing.
