SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 24, 2014) - Starting today through July 31, Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurants are inviting guests to experience "Sweet Insanity" by crafting their own delicious soft serve ice cream sandwiches from an assortment of tasty ingredients. The unique dessert option, available to help guests combat the summer heat, will be available in all Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation locations nationwide.

This limited time offer gives guests the chance to create their very own soft serve ice cream sandwiches from a choice of chocolate chip cookie bars, cookie crumbles, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, and vanilla and chocolate soft serve. Included are ingredients to recreate the winning dessert recipe from the "Design Your Own Delicious" social campaign that took place in May. During that contest, guests were asked to create a unique menu recipe, snap a photo and post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with a list of ingredients. Entries were judged on several criteria, including originality, aesthetic appeal and public voting. This year's winner, who came out of Hollywood, Florida, will receive free meals for a year.
