WASHINGTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will meet with Japanese government officials in Tokyo next week before attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation finance ministers meeting in Singapore, the Treasury said on Wednesday.

These same topics will come up at the Nov. 12 APEC meeting in Singapore, along with trade finance, public-private models for financing large infrastructure projects and development of capital markets.
Both the Tokyo and Singapore meetings come on the heels of Geithner's trip to Scotland to attend a G20 finance ministers meeting this weekend. Achieving a timeline for reforms to better balance the economy will be a key topic of discussions at that gathering, along with an emphasis on continued government support to foster economic growth.
