UK Rough gas storage site outage impact expanded-Centrica

LONDON, Aug 12 (Reuters) - An unplanned outage at Britain's Rough natural gas storage site, due to end on Thursday, will reduce injection capacity by 20 million cubic metres/day (mcm), operator Centrica (LSE: CNA.L - news) said in an updated note on Wednesday.
Centrica previously expected injection capacity to be reduced by 14 mcm/day, while withdrawal is not affected.
The scheduled end of the outage, which started on Wednesday, was also extended by nine hours until 1000 local time (0900 GMT) on Thursday. (Reporting by Nina Chestney and Oleg Vukmanovic; editing by Susan Thomas and Louise Heavens)
