In conformity with rule 5.6.1R of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTRs"), The Vitec Group plc ("Vitec (Frankfurt: 899718 - news) ") is required to notify the market of the following:
At the date of this announcement, Vitec's issued capital is 43,506,107 ordinary shares of 20 pence each, each share carrying one vote.
The above figure of 43,506,107 may be used by shareholders to determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in Vitec under the DTRs.
