Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has hinted that someone unexpected could get caught up in Belle Dingle's heartbreaking mental health crisis.
Belle becomes a potential danger to herself and others next week as she disappears into the woods with a knife in upsetting scenes.
Viewers will see Belle's ongoing issues reach a peak on the day of Nate Robinson and Tracy Metcalfe's party at the pub, where they plan to reveal the sex of their unborn baby.
As Belle continues to feel guilty over Nate's likely jail sentence, she takes the cake knife from the party and does a disappearing act – still believing that she's following orders from her late mum Lisa.

Speaking about the upcoming episodes, Eden explained: "Belle is preparing the table and decorations for the party at The Woolpack, but Lisa is telling her that she has to protect her family.
"Lisa says that Nate is going to prison and it's all Belle's fault that Tracy's baby is not going to have a dad. There's a cake knife at the pub, so Lisa pushes Belle to protect her family. To her, that means take the knife and run.
"I don't think Belle knows what she's going to do next. She's in a whirlwind and she just starts to hallucinate seeing Jamie everywhere. The image of him is in her mind and she thinks getting rid of Jamie would protect her family."

She continued: "Belle is seeing Jamie, then she's not, and then he'll turn into someone else. She runs through the woods and sees him everywhere, but then he's not really there. So it's a case of her trying to find the real Jamie.
"Jamie has not seen Belle in this state, so I don't think he'd have a clue that he's in danger. She's got the knife, she does break into his house and she thinks she sees Jamie, but is it him? Who knows."
Eden expressed hope that these scenes will ultimately lead to Belle getting the help she needs at this difficult time.

She said: "Belle definitely needs help, but it's just whether the Dingles are there and whether they can get her the help she needs.
"The reason Belle has spiralled is because everyone is so busy with their own lives and nobody has really seen it happening. If they can rally round and get her help, it could all be a lot better."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
