'Rate kya hai,' Delhi men ask Northeast women in shocking video

Everyday there are videos posted about women being harassed in India, bringing light to the issues of women's safety in the country. In a recent shocking video, two Northeastern women are harassed on streets in Hauz Khas Village, in Delhi.

The video shows a group of middle aged men asking 'rate kya hai' (what's your rate) to a group of women, assuming them to be sex workers.

Their plight did not end right then, but continued into the night when the women went to a restaurant where another police official intervened, asking them about their destination. The police officer’s repeated question to one of them: “Are you a dancer?”

The women spoke about about racial and sexual harassment in an Instagram video, justifying why "their sorry means nothing to us."
